Dilly-Mint Vinegar
Flavorful Addition for Salads!
Ingredients:
2 cups cider or white wine vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 heads fresh dill, or 2 teaspoons dill seed
6 long, leafy spearmint sprigs
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a glass jar.
2. Let stand for 4 to 6 weeks, shaking jar about once a week.
3. Strain and bottle.
4. Add a fresh dill sprig to each bottle.
5. Use for potato salad, coleslaw, oil and vinegar dressing, or deviled eggs.
