Lavender Soap Balls
The Castile soap in these soap balls is deep cleansing and provides a restorative softness to skin.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup boiling water
waxed paper
Instructions:
1. Make a "tea" by pouring the boiling water over the lavender buds.
2. Steep for 15 minutes.
3. Grate bars of soap (should make about 3 1/4 cups.)
5. Pour this mixture over the grated soap.
6. Knead the soap mixture together and form it into balls.
7. Place the soap balls on a piece of waxed paper.
8. Allow to air-dry for 2 - 5 days.
9. If soap balls have a gritty texture, run then under the tap for a moment and smooth them with your hands.
10. Let them dry again.
11. Store them unwrapped.
