Lavender Ointment
This handmade ointment can be placed on burns and cuts to soothe them, or on bruises to help fade them. It also stimulates healing.
Ingredients:
Instructions:
1. Combine the olive or almond oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, and lanolin.
2. Heat thoroughly in the top of a double boiler.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Add the vitamin E, lavender and sandalwood oils.
5. Beat well.
6. Pour into little jars or pots and allow mixture to cool before covering with lids.
7. Keeps 6 to 12 months.
