Old Colonial Sweet Bag Mixture


An elegant aromatic old-fashioned potpourri

Ingredients:

2 ounces rose petals

1 ounce lavender

1 ounce hyssop
2 Tablespoons lime peel, crushed
2 Tablespoons blade mace, crushed
2 drops patchouli essential oil
2 drops vetiver essential oil


Instructions:

1. Put the dried rose petals, dried lavender, and dried hyssop in a large mixing bowl.

2. Add the lime peel and mace, and mix with your fingers.

3. Add the oils, 1 drop at a time, and mix after each drop.

4. Put the mixture in a closed container and allow to age for 6 weeks, shaking every other day.
